Darna (Lydia Kandou) adalah seorang anak yang mirip Superman.
Dia bisa terbang,menghentikan kereta api yang masuk jurang, menangkap penjahat dll. Ia dilahirkan untuk membasmi kejahatan.
Satu saat ia terpaksa membunuh Maria (Dian Ariestya), teman dekatnya, karena Maria membunuh ibu Doddy (Donny Nurhadi), pacar Darna.
