Lupus (Ryan Hidayat) adalah pelajar SMA merah-putih yang aktif menulis sebagai wartawan sebuah majalah, senang mengunyah permen karet, cuek dan sangat jail. Ia mengganggu siapa pun, temannya, ibunya, adiknya, kepala sekolah, orang yang baru dikenalnya.
Kejailan ini lebih bernada humor dari pada menyakiti dan berniat jahat. Ada maksud baik sesekali dalam candanya itu. Sifat inilah yang dianggap mewakili remaja pada era 80an.
Pada film ini di kisahkan hubungan pacaran dengan Poppy (Nurul Arifin) yang seolah �off� dan �on� terus menerus. Dalam kisah ini ditampilkan kejailan Lupus dalam hidupnya sehari-hari, baik di rumah, sekolah maupun di jalanan. Tidak ada jalur lurus, ceritanya berjalan ke sana ke mari.
