Gadis nyentrik bernama Euis (Euis Darliah) ditunangkan orangtuanya dengan pemuda anak juragan tanah. Keadaan jadi lain, karena Euis lebih tertarik dengan tukang ojek yang sama-sama nyentrik bernama Beno (Benyamin S.).
Kegagalan rencana perjodohan itu berakibat Euis dan Beno harus membayar utang-utangnya. Tentu saja hal ini membuat mereka jadi kesulitan. Untung kemudian muncul kakek Lihun (Syamsuddin Syafei), kakek Euis yang sudah belasan tahun tak pernah bertemu. Kakek Lihun inilah yang kemudian membayar semua kerugian dan utang keluarga Euis.
Kakek Lihun mendadak kaya karena baru saja menjual tanahnya. Jadilah Beno dan Euis menikah keesokan harinya.
