TJOET NJA DHIEN


Tjoet Nja' Dhien adalah film Indonesia tahun 1988 yang disutradarai Eros Djarot. Film ini memenangkan piala Citra sebagai film terbaik. Film ini juga merupakan film Indonesia pertama yang ditayangkan di Festival Film Cannes (tahun 1989).
Menceritakan tentang pejuang wanita asal Aceh (lihat Cut Nyak Dhien) dan bagaimana ia dikhianati oleh salah satu jendralnya Panglima Laot. Ia adalah seorang Pahlawan Nasional Indonesia dari Aceh yang berjuang melawan Belanda pada masa Perang Aceh. Setelah wilayah VI Mukim diserang, ia mengungsi, sementara suaminya Ibrahim Lamnga bertempur melawan Belanda. Ibrahim Lamnga tewas di Gle Tarum pada tanggal 29 Juni 1878 yang menyebabkan Cut Nyak Dhien sangat marah dan bersumpah hendak menghancurkan Belanda.
